Here is my first upload to the database: Minish Cap Castle Tiles!

Now, I know what you're thinking: "What kind of nitwit would put
just a up facing door! What about a down facing one?!"

Now that's where flipping comes in. I mentioned flipping in the
description, but not everybody knows how. Come to think of it, not
everybody knows how to import tiles and palettes.

Never fear! Agent_Lym is here!

First: Grabbing C-sets

Instead of having you import a palette set, (which would delete your
current palette set), I am having you grab c-sets into one of your
blank palettes. Rest easy. This is easier than it sounds.

First, go to Quest->Graphics->Palettes->Levels. Then select a blank
palette and click Edit. A black box comes up with the numbers 1-9
and the letters "a"-"f" going across the side and top. (if there are
colors there already, go back a step and select a different palette.
One that has no colors, just a black box).

Once you have found a blank palette, click on the Dark button near
the bottom. If there the Dark button isn't there, and the numbers
go down like this: "2,3,4,9,2,3,4,2,3,4,2,3,4" :then don't worry
about it. Now, next to the first "2" on the side, click. A flashing
box should appear next to the "2". Once you have done that, click
the Grab button near the bottom. Next, on the next screen, click the
File button. Then, search your computer for the files you downloaded
that contain my Minish Cap tiles. There should be a file called "Rip
C-set 2 from here". Select that file, then click on the top bar of
colors. Then click OK.

Now all that's left is to do that for C-set 3,4, and 9. Just
remember to grab the c-sets from the respective number of the file.
"Rip C-set 3 from here" for c-set 3, "Rip C-set 4 from here" for
c-set 4, etc... You only have to do this for the first "2","3","4",
and "9".

Once you're done with that, go back to C-set 2, click edit, and
change the last color (the blue one) to a light yellowish-tan.
To do that, click on the blue color (in the edit screen), then place
the crossing lines near the bottom right. Make it so the numbers
near the center of the screen say: 57 54 45 in order.
It doesn't have to be exact, though.

Then, do the same thing for C-set 4, and change the dark-purplish
color (the third from the last) to a dark navy blue. Change it
to something like: 14 18 27. It doesn't have to be exact.

Second: Importing Tiles

This is the easy part. Just go to Quest->Graphics->Tiles. Find a
blank, black page, click on the top-left corner and click Grab. Go
to the folder that contains my Minish Cap images, and click the file
that says "TileSheet 1.gif". Once you have selected the file, click
the Leech button right above the Pal button.

A box should appear that says "Leech Options" or something to that
degree. There should be three columns of white dots. On the first
one next to Normal (the one that says "ignore"), click it so that
there is a black dot in it. Then just click OK!

Now, just do that again, on another black tilepage for "TileSheet
2.gif", and your done with that step!

Third: Tiles to Combos

This is where it could get kinda tedious. Once you have all your
tiles done, go back to the normal screen. Then click Quest->
Graphics->Combos. Go to a blank page filled with just red and black
squares. Make sure you have an extra couple of blank pages after
that one.

Select the first square, click edit, then click the square that has
three hearts in it. (that should be the first block in the group of
three. Then scroll down to where you previously ripped the tiles.
Pick one you want, and double click it.

Then just do that for every tile you want. I don't know if there is
a simpler way, but if you want, just post a topic in the PureZC
forums for help on the subject.

Fourth: Flipping Tiles

To save space and time, flipping tiles was invented. You can also
flip combos!

To flip tiles, go to Quest->Graphics->Tiles, select the tile you want
to flip and press "r","h", or "v".

"r"= one quarter flip
"h"= horizontal flip
"v"= vertical flip

That's all there is to it! To flip combos, go to Quest->Graphics->
Combos, select one, click edit, then press "r","h", or "v".

That's all you gotta do! Hope this helps!

CREDITS:

Nintendo- great games, and tiles
DARKPHANTOM- the spritesheet that I drew/ripped the tiles from

If you use these tiles in a quest, I would love it if you gave me credit.
These took a long time to rip and was very tedious. If you forget to
give me credit (or just don't want to), I won't hunt you down. But it
would be great if I knew my tiles were used!

Also, it would be great if you rated my tiles on PureZC!
